Church of Craft, Cleveland meets again!

Join us on April 20th from 1-4pm for Church of Craft. This group gets together monthly for an afternoon of social crafting. Crafters include people with talents of all types, including but not limited to sewers, designers, crocheters, knitters, popsicle stick joke writers, and really good ironers (hey, that’s an art form). This event is a great creativity boost for those of you looking to rid yourselves of the winter blahs.

See you Sunday!

More success stories!

Katie is a high school student, she had a dress from a local vintage shop that was way 80s, so she wanted to remove the puffy sleeves and create a bubble hem and sweetheart neckline.

She also made the shawl she is wearing in the photo. Katie dabbles in sewing on her own and just needed a little advice, so she came in for help from Stitch Cleveland. I’m looking forward to seeing her next project! Doesn’t the dress look great?

With prom season upon us (so soon?!), not to mention the summer bridal season, don’t forget that Stitch Cleveland can not only help you make the dress of your dreams (or alter a pre-existing one like Katie’s), but we can also do alterations and fit adjustments, too! Call us or stop by to talk about your project.

You’ve been waiting…

Finally, the patternmaking tools and dress forms you’ve all been waiting for have arrived! Among the new tools are pattern notchers, needle tracing wheels, industry pro dressforms (male and female, available in all sizes and many styles), half scale dressforms — great for practicing your draping skills, hip curves, L-squares, pattern paper scissors, fabric shears, and more!

Call to ask about our student discounts on dressforms or for more information. We can also special order any size or style of dressform you’d like, even custom ones!
