One Yard Wonders… by Heidi!

One Yard Wonders arrived the other day and we are loving the great projects! All of them can be completed with one yard of fabric… perfect to help us put a dent in our stashes… or maybe an excuse to buy “just a yard.”

What’s even more exciting then the arrival of the book? Heidi’s quilted bag is featured on pg. 164!

Among the over 100 projects in the book are a yoga mat, aprons, pet accessories, bags, and even garments for young and old. All patterns and directions are included! Give us a call to reserve your copy… they’ve been going fast.

Don’t forget to ask Heidi to sign your copy!

Cool Quilt Stores Across the Country…

Check us out in Quilting Arts’ new issue of International Quilt Festival Quilt Scene! We are featured as a “cool quilt store.” We love it!

We are honored to be included in this article with some of our favorite shops to visit. Purl Patchwork and The City Quilter are two of our regular stops while in New York! We can’t wait to visit the other cool quilt stores highlighted in the article!

Party Time!

3867523390_b9eeec7014Hi all! We know it’s been a long time since our last post and we’ve been trying so hard to keep you all updated. We’ve been staying busy planning our holiday class schedule, ordering some new products, and organizing parties!

What better way to celebrate with friends then to invite them all to join you in learning something new? One of our star pupils, E, is planning a stupendous birthday gathering for herself and four friends. They’ll be making tote bags to carry at school. You don’t have to be a student already to plan an event or party. We’re happy to help you find something that all of your friends will be excited to create! Coin purses (seen here) are a great group sewing project.
