We offer small group lessons and private classes in a fun and creative studio environment!
During a PRIVATE LESSON, you can expect one on one attention and a lesson that is catered to your needs and questions. You can bring a project idea that you’d like help with or we can guide you in choosing the right project for your skill level! Call us up and we can chat some more about what you are looking for. Our private lesson rate is $30 per hour. We suggest scheduling in 2-hour blocks of time – it’s the perfect amount of stitching time to finish a small project or make a considerable amount of progress on a larger project.
DUET & GROUP LESSONS are also available. Invite a friend or two… or three to join you in the studio. Duet and group lessons are $20 hour/ person.

Hi Martha! Yes, private and duet lessons are taught on Saturdays. Scheduling depends on how busy it is. Sometimes we can fit you in within a few weeks and sometimes the wait is longer. We do not teach machine embroidery. The supplies you’ll need to bring depend on what you’d like to learn in class. Are “Duet” Lessons scheduled just like “Private” lessons? How far in advance do I need to book? Do you have embroidery machines?What materials would I actually have to bring? If I have a specific project in mind, do you supply the materials?
Hi, I have a 7 year old daughter. I’d love to take some classes with her. I would love for her to learn to knit and perhaps sew. She is very creative and loves to draw. I do not know how to knit or sew. Santa bought her a knitting kit to make a scarf with a plastic loom tool and it is a disaster. So it would be nice to take classes together with her. I am seeing these as categories on the calendar but I am not actually seeing the classes on the calendar. Thank you!

We offer Beginner Bootcamp on Saturday mornings,and Fashion Sewing for Girls on Thurs eves, 6:30-8:15. We also scheduled a Beginner Bootcamp in Feb starting on the 14th, 4-6pm. Give us a call at the store for more info.
We offer Beginner Bootcamp monthly on Saturdays, 10am-noon. Alternating monthly for kids & teens/adults. January has been sold out, February is for adults, but we do have a Bootcamp for kids schedule on Thursdays after school in Feb. Call us at the store for more info.
Sorry, but I thought we may have left you a message. We start kids at age 6, with one on one lessons for one hour at a time for machine sewing. We offer Crafty Ninja classes for 4-5 yr olds, where moms assist, however it is not currently on the schedule.Machine sewing is a bit much for younger kids, you might try some simple sewing cards to get her started, she might enjoy that!
