You showed some love & voted for us! XOX

Hey, all you lovely seamsters out there…you showed your love and
helped us reach 250 votes on the Mission: Small Business℠ page to get closer to qualifying for a $250,000 Grant. Now, we wait for a decision from  a panel of judges, we certainly hope they fall in love with us!!  (how could they not, right??)  Send some positive karma our way!!

Your votes really meant alot, thank you to all who took the time to vote- we really really really appreciate it!  Friends is what it’s all about, right?  And you showed that we have lots!  yay!

So, if we are awarded this Grant, we have lots of plans churning in our creative little brains…and they will all benefit you!   More fabrics, more notions & patterns, more machines to play with and more space for classes.  Yes, our fingers are still crossed !!  It’s a long shot, but hey, ya don’t know if ya don’t try, right??

We hope  you also took advantage of our recent Groupon offer.  The group class schedule will be up soon, with lots of fun projects.  We’re just finishing our 2nd week of Summer Sewing Camp – it has been so much fun!!  If you missed it, we still have a few spots available in the July and August camps, so give us a call if you’re interested.  The girls made capris, peasant tops, headbands, shoulder bags and coin purses – by the end of the week everyone knew how to wind bobbins, thread their machines, hem, insert elastic and their favorite – the spray starch!  There were many jealous moms who want  Mom Sewing Camp!!!  hmm, there’s a thought!!  We’re also offering Kids & Teens sewing club on Friday afternoons until August.

Remember to mark your calendars for Amy & David Butler’s visit on August 4th.  Please register by July 30th.  With pre-registration you’ll be entered into a drawing for a special prize!  We’ll have several  drawings during her visit, too — so don’t miss the fun!

Summer is buzzing by uber fast, stop in and check out our new fabrics-we have lots of Kona solids and Amy Butler’s Lark collection as well as Parson Grey’s Curious Nature. PS, the air is on and it’s nice and cool !  : )

Heidi & Megan…and Minnie, too   XOXOXOXOXOXOX with sugar on top!

She’s Back!

Have you seen Amy Butler’s newest collection, Gypsy Caravan?  With the help of Rowan, she has  rereleased her original prints. I loved them when they came out originally, and I love them now!  In fact, I do have a few original pieces in my stash that I just can’t being myself to cut into, isn’t that silly?  The prints are fresh and vintage-perfect for summer dresses, skirts and even summer quilts.  Stop in to see the nice selection we have in store for you!

Parson Grey’s Curious Nature is also on our shelves for your pleasure!     A collection of fabulous neutral prints you won’t be able to pass up.  Neutrals to the max!  A soothing pallete of greys, greens, ivory, blue  and black-anything but dull!

Amy Butler and her husband, David (aka Parson Grey)  will be visiting us again at Stitch Cleveland on August 4th.  Be sure to mark your calendars and be part of this exciting day.  Share their enthusiasm and creativity, have your books signed and show off your creations made of their fabrics, too!
